Amazing 8 day tour in the Land of the Pharaohs with Nile River Cruise 

Feast your eyes with magnificent views of the Giza Pyramids, impressive visits on the East and West Bank of Luxor, enjoy the Nile cruise and formidable City of Aswan. 

Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo 

After your arrival at Cairo International, your easily identifiable tour guide will be waiting to assist you through customs and then transfer to your 5-star hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 2: Cairo 

After a delicious breakfast, your guide will escort you to begin your lifetime experience. 

We head to the Giza pyramid complex. The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the most impressive pyramid and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The Giza Sphinx is another impressive construction, built during the reign of king Khafre ‘The Son of Khufu’.  

In the Valley Temple your tour guide will tell you more about mummification and purification of the mummies.

After a delicious lunch we will visit the Egyptian Museum and then back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Cairo – Luxor (East Bank) 

After the breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Luxor.  Immediately after arrival we will visit one of the most famous attractions on the East Bank: Karnak Temples. The temples are dedicated to Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khunso. 

The best time to visit Luxor Temple is before the sun goes down. The avenue of sphinxes looks especially ancient and some spots make you feel like running away from members of the underworld.  

Transfer and check-in on the cruise ship. 

Day 4: Luxor (West Bank) 

After breakfast on board, you will visit the West Bank of Luxor. First, we will visit the hypnotic Valley of the Kings with the majestic tombs of Tutankhamun, Ramses II, Seti I. After this we will continue our journey to the Temple of Hatshepsut, second female pharaoh. Our guide will tell you more about her interesting life. On our way back to the East Bank you will make a stop at the huge statues, called Colossi of Memnon. 

Back to the cruise ship for free time and overnight. 

Day 5: Luxor – Edfu – Kom Ombo 

Early in the morning we will start sailing to Edfu, the place where visitors will experience the ‘wow’ factor. We will visit the Temple of Horus, second-largest temple in Egypt after Karnak by horse back or carriage ride.

We will then sail to Kom Ombo. The Temple of Kom Ombo is one of the Nile Valley’s most beautifully sited temples, dedicated to two gods: the crocodile god Sobek and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Overnight on the cruise ship. 

Day 6: Aswan 

Ready for a new highlight? Aswan is the place to be the sunniest place on Earth, full of rich historical treasures, peaceful Nubian villages and stunning Nile views.  You will visit the High Dam. With the financial support of Unesco the ancient Egyptian monuments are protected from the danger of the flood of the Nile. 

Finally, the beautiful and best-preserved Ptolemaic Philae Temple. Isis was the primary deity who was worshipped here but also Osiris and Hathor were also honored.  

Day 7: Aswan 

The most impressive temples of ancient Egypt are the Abu Simbel Temples, consisting of two majestic temples dedicated to King Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. 

After this wonderful experience you will be transferred to Aswan International Airport for your flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo 

Day 8: End of this amazing tour 

With a treasure of amazing impressions and beautiful pictures of natural scenery you will fly back to your homeland.
