This policy outlines the terms for cancellations for tours and packages booked with The Opulence of Egypt. We understand that plans can change, and we have designed our policy to be as fair as possible. A confirmed booking is subject to the terms of this cancellation policy. We strongly recommend that all our clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellation.
Cancellations must be initiated by the client in writing and sent to our official email address. The date of cancellation will be the date on which we receive this written notice. Refunds for cancellations are structured based on the amount of notice given prior to the scheduled start date of the tour. For cancellations made 60 days or more before the start date, a full refund will be issued, minus a small administrative fee to cover booking costs. For cancellations made between 30 and 59 days before the start date, a 50% refund of the total booking cost will be issued. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for cancellations made less than 30 days before the tour start date, as all arrangements with our partners will have been finalized and fully paid.
In the rare event that The Opulence of Egypt must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters or political instability), we will notify you as soon as possible. In such cases, we will offer you the choice of either a full and complete refund of all monies paid to us or the option to reschedule your tour for a future date at no additional cost. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking, such as visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights.
